"Anybody who was on the bandwagon, Donald Trump has just given you the greatest gift and a warning: It's going to get ugly and now is the time to jump ship".

Conway first met Trump in 2006, when she was on the condo board of Trump Tower in New York City.

Clinton campaign spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri responded with a statement early Wednesday accusing Trump of being the bigot instead.

Democrats have expressed concerns about Trump receiving sensitive information, but Trump says Hillary Clinton is the one who "can't keep anything private".

"She is knowledgeable, and she is knee-deep in Republican politics", Ordille said.

The move comes just 82 days before the November election and represents yet another overhaul of Trump's tumultuous quest for the White House.

Clinton's camp shot back by criticizing Trump's plan as "a cynical ploy to escape scrutiny of his outrageous proposal to ban an entire religion from our country and no one should fall for it".

Trump, who has never held elected office, has been facing a barrage of criticism from Republicans over his freewheeling campaign style and his refusal to stick to a policy message.

"They don't want to support him, and are not sure whether they are going to come out and vote or not", Greenberg said. I mean, you have to be you. "This year people are fed up on both sides". For years, they've pointed to changing demographics, a growing number of minorities, the changing voting behavior of younger voters and educated women in the state.

Bannon's website has been fiercely loyal to Trump for months and sharply critical of Republican leaders, including House Speaker Paul Ryan.
