"We apologize for any pain we've caused to players of League of Legends".

In addition to the settlement money, Leaguesharp was forced to shut down, as it directly violates Riot Games' Terms of Use.

The lawsuit, filed Friday in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, accuses Zachary Kaufman of Peoria, Ariz. of operating a website called "DivineSmurfs", and selling stolen League of Legends accounts through it. "Defendants pretend, through the unauthorized use of Riot's intellectual property, to run a legitimate business instead of a fraudulent enterprise", says Riot's complaint.

The service charged between $15 and $50 per month, allowing players to execute scripts to alter the game, speed things up to insane speed and ultimately level up League characters more quickly. Whether it's wall hackers in Counter Strike or bots in League of Legends, it seems anti-cheat measures are never good enough to keep up with the elusive developers that sell this kind of service.

Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott welcome baby No
He has two older brothers, 9-year-old Liam and 4-year-old Finn , and two older sisters, 8-year-old Stella and 5-year-old Hattie . So how many kids does Tori Spelling have now? Tori wrote. "Please join us in welcoming Beau Dean McDermott ".

According to a report on Engadget, the settlement means that LeagueSharp must now pay Riot Games $10 million and give Riot control over its websites.

It was reported that LeagueSharp, through its charges for its cheating tools, was earning monthly revenues that reach hundreds of thousands of dollars from tens of thousands of subscribers. The lawsuit also accuses LeagueSharp of attacking Riot's servers, teaching LoL players how to cheat without being caught and advising them how to fraudulently dispute transactions in-game.

Finding the head (s) of LeagueSharp was more hard than Riot had expected, three german hackers were behind the service who also allegedly started a shell company to avoid the legal ramifications that would soon ensue.
