Temperatures will still manage to reach the low 80s in most areas despite the clouds.

The other update is that models are now indicating mainly dry conditions tomorrow, a change from this morning where scattered showers looked to have lingered throughout the day. But the best chance of rain will occur Wednesday night as a cold front moves through. Low temperatures will be in the lower 60s. We're also monitoring Wednesday night as the possibility of patchy frost across northeast Kansas with mid-upper 30s for lows.

There will be an approaching cold front on Thursday.

Today will be one of our nicest days in the 7-day forecast. It will remain rather breezy through the night with winds of 10 to 20 miles per hour likely. Rain moves out by afternoon with mostly cloudy skies. Winds: W 5-10 miles per hour. Scattered rain showers will continue into Tuesday morning before tapering off for a while during the afternoon. Winds: S 5-10 miles per hour.

The SPC has included areas along and north of I-10 in Marginal Risk for strong-to-severe storms Wednesday night into Thursday morning. It will mild with temperatures in the 60s through the day.

Rain will continue to be steady near I-44 through late evening with up to an additional inch of rain possible. Isolated Storms Possible (30%).

Another disturbance will bring rain chances for Thursday with mainly dry conditions on Friday.
