The Samsung official didn't say where the fingerprint sensor might be located on the Galaxy Note 8, but given the rash of complaints about its location in the Galaxy S8, Samsung might be wise to find a more central location on the rear of its upcoming handset.

According to reports, the phone will debut the next flagship Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 836, when it launches later this summer.

According to the Chinese publication, the Snapdragon 836 will be a 64-bit, octa-core processor with a 2.5GHz clock speed. This, as you can see, is not a major upgrade over the Snapdragon 835 SoC which is now powering some of the smartphones like Galaxy S8, HTC U11, etc.

Possibly, after this startling addition of Snapdragon 836 chip, it will boost up the performance of Note 8 if compared to Galaxy S8. Additionally, the company is also reported to launch Galaxy C10 Plus model, which will feature identical specs that will be present on the Galaxy C10. However, the Snapdragon 845 is unlikely to become available until 2018.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 8 towards the end of August, or as late as early September.

Several reports have suggested that when Samsung releases its Galaxy Note 8 later this year, it'll come with the Snapdragon 835.

Fingerprint scanners embedded below the display is the next step for the current gen scanners.

Apart from Note 8, there are many chief brands of the market that have corporate with Qualcomm to make this technology a part of their upcoming smartphones. But it chose not to use the technology due to "technical limitations such as security". However, it is secure and reliable. The phone would retain the S Pen stylus and 3.5mm headphone jack. Both the listings, as usual, don't reveal much about the device except that the SM-A450F will ship with Android 7.1.1 onboard.
