Kellyanne Conway Defends Trump Jr: No 'Meaningful' Information Was Received

Kellyanne Conway denies campaign collusion, says 'disclosure forms have been amended' after Donald Trump Jr. report CNN's Chris Cuomo and Kellyanne Conway just got into an epic on-air battle

It quickly became clear that she had no meaningful information.

"You don't know what I care about!"

Asked by Stephanopoulos if Trump Jr.'s meeting with the Russian attorney didn't indicate a desire a collude with a foreign adversary during an America election, Conway insisted the meeting produced "no evidence of collusion".

He says he did not know who the meeting was with, as it had been set up by an acquaintance. That being said, the clip that is making the rounds today most aggressively is this one, in which Good Morning America's George Stephanopoulos confronts her with video footage that holds her shifting party line on the issue against her.

Cuomo said, "He used the word "Russia" - she had information that individuals connected to Russian Federation were funding the Democratic National Committee and supporting Mrs. Clinton". 'Let's focus on what did not happen in that meeting.

Donald Trump's adviser Kellyanne Conway struggled Monday to explain away the latest Trump campaign collusion bombshell, courtesy of The New York Times. She relied on insults throughout the discussion, telling Cuomo she admired his "moxie" as he sat "there with the CNN chyron right near you talking about credibility issues".

Conway also told Cuomo that CNN should be spending more time covering Trump's positive actions, such as on veterans or infrastructure, but Cuomo told her his "conscience is clean".

In her spot on CNN, Conway said, "Aren't you the least bit reluctant if not embarrassed that you now talk about Russian Federation more than you talk about America?". "You talked about being in a court of law - not good when you change your story", Cuomo said. I asked Jared and Paul to attend, but told them nothing of the substance. Trump and his supporters regularly refer to CNN as "fake news", and Conway said that the network is obsessed with Russian Federation instead of issues that impact the American people. Cuomo responded that not only is it important to have a conversation but that CNN is a network that allowed Conway to speak over the allotted time. (Supposedly nothing came of it and they ended up discussing adoption and the Magnitsky Act.) Who told the Times what the real goal of the meeting was, embarrassing Junior and forcing him to put out that second statement?

If it wasn't Kushner's people, then who told the Times about Don Jr and the Russian lawyer? And it's an unfair premise'. That we are talking about this again. Director James Comey possibly having classified information in some of the memos he wrote, but didn't disclose.

CONWAY: Two quick things. In an attempt to avoid saying Press Secretary Sean Spicer lied during his first statement to the Press Corps, Conway says he "gave alternative facts" before deflecting blame onto Barack Obama.
