The model for this Star Wars themed expansion of the park is not only being displayed at D23, but attendees will be able to walk through portions of it. First up, some from the official Star Wars photographer.

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek called the attractions "immersive new worlds", and you can really see how that's going to be the case, just looking at these photos.

The Walt Disney Company has released a model showing how its new Star Wars-themed amusement parks will look upon completion.

The D23 Expo is the ultimate Disney fan event, taking plays at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Alert all commands, Disney has lifted the veil and given us a sneak preview of what Star Wars Land will look like. The video above shows a model of exactly what visitors can expect when they step into the Star Wars-themed land.

The D23 Expo is often the setting for major announcements from the Disney Parks and Resorts division, and Chapek is expected to reveal new attractions for Disney World. The other is a battle ride between the First Order and the Resistance. "I mean, even the way you choose enter this part of the park will have an impact on your adventure".

The progress on the Star Wars-inspired lands was updated by the amusement park and resort giant earlier this year in March.

So guests will actually get to pilot the Millennium Falcon, which has been a fantasy at some point for every Star Wars fan.

Here you'll encounter a thriving spaceport with multiple landing pads.

To give an example, Trowbridge told the website that a bartender at the cantina may mention a bad performance on the Millennium Falcon after someone goes on the ride. The next Star Wars movie, The Last Jedi, comes to theaters on December 15.
